Scott Church

Scott Church is currently leading the marketing and sales efforts at Connect For Education. Before returning to education, he was the Director or Product Management at Universal Audio. Prior to joining Universal Audio, he was at Avid/Digidesign, initially as the Music Creation Product Manager that determined the market requirements, customer requirements and led the design, definition and implementation of the redesigned user interface, MIDI editor, Score editor and Playlist view (e.g. track comping) for the award-winning Pro Tools 8. Subsequently, he was the Pro Tools Software Strategist and then the Market Solutions Manager for the independent professional market segment, focused on product and business strategy. Additionally, he has taught Pro Tools certification courses at Future Rhythm and Pyramind, and worked with recognized industry-leaders, including Steinberg, audioMIDI.com, Guitar Center, M-Audio/Propellerhead, Obedia, NARAS (The GRAMMY Foundation)/Electronic Arts and T.C. Electronic.

Scott began his work in the music industry at Steinberg North America (developers of Cubase/Nuendo) in 1997 where he served as an evangelist and helped facilitate sales, training and educational events such as Club Cubase. Scott also helped launch audioMIDI.com, which has since become one of the leading online retailers of computer music technology.
