The Connect for Education music courses are a rich media content-driven text that can be used like a regular textbook or delivered to your target audience in a synchronous or asynchronous fashion. Most, if not all of their texts come with a variety of ancillary materials to help navigate, structure the course as well as engage students.

When I initiated History of Rock at CCRI, I never imagined it would succeed as it has. (It helped get us through the pandemic.) The service has been amazing to the faculty and students and I want to call out Emily as a fantastic person to work with!

I've had the chance to use C4E text in my music courses over the last several years. Not only is the content spot on, but the support is fantastic! You can't go wrong with this tool.

I was very impressed with the C4E site, it was easy to navigate. Compared to a textbook, the music courses was much more enjoyable through the addition of videos and listening examples., I was highly satisfied with the site and I look forward to using it in the future.

This version of applied is definitely more challenging, but I don’t feel like I’m at it alone anymore. Thank you. Respectfully

C4E music courses and customer service are both top-notch. If there is better out there, I haven't seen it.

My experience with the OMC site was a good one, I do not have any negative thoughts on it. It was easy to navigate. This site also helped me stay organized and on top of what was coming up and its due date. If I were to compare the site to any traditional textbook, I would rate this site a 10/10 simply because I love the online music texts because I can read about the different topics, see pictures listen to the music that they create, and then answer the 10 questions that are asked. Also, I love how the information is straight to the point and some topics are broken into 2 parts therefore it’s either Quiz 1 or Quiz 2 really appreciate that. The content of each topic was very engaging. It showed images of the musical instruments and some dances they do. I feel like this helped my organization and my grades to be on point because it wasn’t too much information, it was just right. As I end this Music class for the semester, I would encourage teachers to use this site for better time management, organization, grades, visuals and many many more reasons why.

This is my first time teaching an asynchronous music class and C4E has been great! The course materials are great, and the tech support has gone above and beyond to help me do this well.

Personally, I really like OMC more than other websites used for student learning. The way that the program is designed for easy use, and how you can set the test differently compared to Moodle. Plus, everything is easily accessible.

Jesse is excellent Double Bass mentor. He never gave a complete answer to any question. Instead, he'd give me a little information and then we'd talk about it. By the end of the conversation, my question would be answered along with much more information.

This applied course is much more involved than a similar one I took at another college. The regular discussions help give it the structure of a real class, rather than feeling like I’m just playing independently with no interaction or performance expectations. At first, I mistakenly assumed it would be like the other course, but once I understood the format, I realized how thoughtfully it’s designed. That structure has really set me up for success.

I've found the OnMusic Companion platform to be a transformative resource, especially for music students in remote locations who normally couldn't access the resources of our main campus. Its flexibility in course customization, paired with an extensive library of music assets, enabled me to create an engaging World Music course that successfully connected students from multiple islands. The adaptability and resourcefulness of OnMusic Companion have been pivotal in simplifying online course delivery and democratizing music education across our island nation.
